On 13/01/2014 Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded the 2013 FIFA Ballon d'Or. Other nominees for this award was Lionel Messi (Argentina), Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich). Ronaldo resulted ahead of the two in the voting. This is the second time he is receiving this award, he has already got the FIFA World Player of the year in 2008 . This time he ended the four year reign (2009-2012) of Messi with the award. Ronaldo got emotional after getting the award with his son Cristiano Ronaldo Junior from Pele (Former Brazilian Player). He had shown a spectacular performance by scoring 62 goals in 2013. He thanked his teammates and his family for supporting him. AtAwAb wishes good luck to you Ronaldo.......
